I was born in Cuba and came to the U.S. in 1980 with my family on an overcrowded boat — a journey that changed everything. My father repaired equipment at a nonprofit radio station, my mother cleaned hotel rooms, and together they showed me what hard work truly means.
Growing up below the poverty line pushed me to become an entrepreneur early on. At age 10, I was buying and reselling products in the schoolyard — my first taste of business and independence.
Building from the Ground Up
After high school, I worked multiple jobs, sometimes over 100 hours a week. In my spare time, I flipped garage sale finds for profit at flea markets. One lucky discovery — hundreds of new clothing samples I bought for $1 each and sold for $6 — sparked a lifelong passion for smart investing and entrepreneurship.
By age 22, I’d saved enough for a home and covered my mortgage by renting rooms. From flea markets to eBay, I grew into wholesale and international trade, launching my first apparel brand that hit $1 million in just 13 months.
Over the next two decades, I built and acquired 14 companies, expanding into a thriving apparel empire before eventually selling it — ready to begin a new chapter.
A New Purpose: Coaching for Growth
After selling my company, I turned my focus to my true passion — helping others grow. I now coach men to build confidence, sharpen focus, and create the life they’ve always wanted.
